Core Concepts
Visibility scores
Use scores as directional indicators backed by response evidence.
Overall score
The overall visibility score is calculated as a 50/50 blend. Half comes from per-platform visibility rate: how often the scoring LLM platforms mention the brand. The other half comes from a composite of market answer share, citation rate, model consistency, and share of voice.
The report stores the same value as both overall and overall_visibility for compatibility across dashboards, exports, and reports.
Score bands
Brand Auditor classifies scores of 70 or higher as Strong in reports, 40 to 69 as Moderate, and below 40 as Low. The processing service stores the same thresholds internally as excellent, good, and poor.
Per-platform scores
Per-platform scores are mention rates for each LLM platform. If a scoring platform has real data, the score is the percentage of audit terms where the brand was mentioned on that platform.
Scores need evidence
Use scores to find where to look first, then read the report evidence. Keyword rows, response excerpts, citations, competitor mentions, and recommendations explain what actually happened.
