Technical Review
Scan pages for issues that affect AI readability and search visibility.
What Technical Review scans
Technical Review scans public URLs for AI-readiness. The help text describes checks across schema, structure, metadata, content depth, E-E-A-T, AI readability, keyword alignment, and competitor context.
URL validation and safety
URLs must be valid public URLs and pass the URL safety checker. Internal, localhost, and private addresses are rejected. The brand domain is prefilled as https://domain when available.
Quota and batch limits
The form has a hard cap of 25 URL inputs, but the effective batch size is also limited by remaining monthly Technical Review quota. If more valid URLs are submitted than quota allows, the first remaining number of URLs are queued.
How scoring works
Each scan creates a PageAudit row, fetches the page in headless Chrome, runs checks, analyses keyword alignment, builds recommendations, and calculates ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and overall scores.
Overall Technical Review score is the average of the platform scores. Platform scores are weighted differently by category and include a keyword-alignment component.
Retention and history
Completed Technical Review scans are kept for 365 days and failed scans for 30 days. The screen shows in-flight scans, latest completed result per distinct URL, and recent scan history.
